Election Results and THANK YOU!

The Election yesterday yielded the following results for our House District, 51A, according to the Secretary of State: With 100% of the Precincts counted, Republican Andrea Todd-Harlin received 6821 votes, or 48.34%. Democratic-Farmer-Labor Sandra Masin received 7262 votes, or 51.47%. There were 27 write-in votes, or 0.19%.

Rep. Sandy Masin released this message:
My sincere appreciation to everyone who supported my election to the Minnesota House of Representatives. I am extremely grateful for your confidence in me and I will do my best to maintain that trust.

I want to thank everyone who took time to vote and to participate in the campaign and election process. Benjamin Franklin's quote, "A Republic, if you can keep it," should always be kept in mind. It takes the effort of each and every citizen to keep a government that recognizes the worth of each individual.

We can now concentrate all our efforts on Minnesota's future.

Many thanks,
