The Dorothy Day Center
provides meals, food shelf and medical care for homeless and near-homeless individuals in the Twin Cities metro area.
FISHAPALOOZA, a large ice fishing event, took place on Feb 27, 2010. The event participants donated the the caught fish to the Dorothy Day Center in downtown St. Paul.
|On February 28 2010, volunteers from several organizations and groups came together and cooked and served fish and venison meals at the Center. This was a generous and much-welcomed partnership with the Sportsman Channel's Hunt.Fish.Feed. initiative. (read more...) A group of legislators was among the volunteer groups.|
