Dorothy Day Center visit

The Dorothy Day Center provides meals, food shelf and medical care for homeless and near-homeless individuals in the Twin Cities metro area.

FISHAPALOOZA, a large ice fishing event, took place on Feb 27, 2010. The event participants donated the the caught fish to the Dorothy Day Center in downtown St. Paul.

On February 28 2010, volunteers from several organizations and groups came together and cooked and served fish and venison meals at the Center. This was a generous and much-welcomed partnership with the Sportsman Channel's Hunt.Fish.Feed. initiative. (read more...) A group of legislators was among the volunteer groups.
