09-04-2013 The Voice of the People... Minnesotans who visited the State Fair stopped at the Minnesota House booth. They were presented with a questionnaire and the results are now out. You can see them here. Be aware - this is not a scientific survey. It was conducted this year again by the non-partisan House Public Information Services Office. Some of the topics people gave voice to might become topics of discussion in 2014. According to this informal survey, the majority of people support increasing minimum wage and requiring background checks in gun shows when firearms are purchased from a private seller. » Return |
